| Placement tests are given the week
before classes begin each semester to determine in which level each student
should be placed. The tests may also be given to students, referred to the
Institute by International Student Services or the MBA Coordinator, who do
not have admissible scores on the TOEFL or on the verbal/analytical writing
section of the GMAT. If post-baccalaureate students referred for testing
demonstrate proficiency in all of the components, they are considered
admissible to the university (or to the MBA program). If they do not
demonstrate proficiency in all of the components, they may study in the ELI
on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on the placement test results.
Students referred to the ELI for testing are charged a $30 test fee. |
