Individualized Interpreter Training/Mentoring |
| |
| This advanced program is specially designed for those individuals preparing for the MICS performance test, which assesses both interpreting and transliterating skills. Participants in the program will video tape themselves signing to an audio tape. The mentor will then provide in-depth feedback for both interpreting skills and transliterating skills by rating the performances using appropriate evaluation factors. The program will begin with a mandatory two-hour session on Saturday, February 9, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Individual one-hour sessions will then be scheduled once a week, for one-on-one mentoring, to evaluate performance tapes. Four tapes will be assessed in four weeks. |
